Bali, you wonderful place — how many experiences, adventures, and lessons you’ve given us! We spent two months exploring this island, and I still long to return. To the black sand beaches, the scooter rides, the delicious food, the connections… And being able to capture a story like this — in video and photos — is something that will stay with me forever.

Us and Budapest - Cs&B

Budapest is my favorite city in many ways. I was born here, grew up here, and even though I’ve visited several European capitals, I always marvel at how beautiful the place we live in is. However, I rarely act as a tourist in my own city, which is why I cherish these photo sessions when you reach out for one like this: let’s wander around the city, walk wherever our feet take us.

Csenge and Berci completely captivated me in every way – their positive energy, the creativity, the trust I felt from them all contributed to us creating something truly memorable. But let the pictures speak for themselves…

If you feel like you’d love to have a similar shared experience, definitely reach out to me! I can’t wait to meet you and create something special together!

Every photoshoot is special and unique, truly. Because it’s about you and there’s only one story like yours. But there’s no greater joy than when we create something truly new, something different – and in this case, we captured Xenii and Alen in a special location.

It all started with the idea of taking a few creative shots to complement their mini-wedding, but the cold and rainy weather didn’t cooperate, so we had to find an indoor solution. I’ve long dreamed of doing a photoshoot at the Museum of Fine Arts – and luckily, Xenii and Alen immediately fell in love with the concept.

The challenge with the location is that, on the one hand, there are always plenty of people in the exhibits, so we had to be patient and quick-witted to make sure no one photobombed the pictures (although a lot can be fixed in post-production, I still believe that what can be done well in the ‘raw’ shot should be). On the other hand, we couldn’t use flash, so we had to make the most of the indoor lighting as creatively as possible. Honestly, I really enjoyed this creative process – these “challenges” are captivating, they draw me in and push me to step out of my comfort zone. Honestly, it’s hard for me to stop shooting at moments like this! 😀

Why is engagement photography important? - Nóri & Gauthier

There are so many reasons to mention, but to highlight just a few: it gives you the opportunity to capture this special, loving, magical time when you’re still preparing, waiting for the Big Day. These photos aim to show those happy, carefree, butterfly-in-the-stomach feelings that will give you strength even in tough times—they remind you why you fell in love in the first place. In a word, you’re not just getting pictures, but also an experience.

From a more practical perspective: the engagement shoot is the best rehearsal for the Big Day. You get to know your photographer and their style of directing—so on your wedding day, we meet again as familiar faces, almost like friends. This is especially important, as the photographer/videographer will be physically the closest to you during the most intimate moments, and while unnoticed, will be all around you.

On the other hand, the photos you receive can be great for multiple uses: for a ‘save the date’ post, wedding invitations, later on in wedding decor, or even on your wedding website. You can make the platforms personal and elegant with cohesive, high-quality images.

Tips:

  • It’s important to consciously choose the location—ideally, pick a place that means something to you, that you have a personal connection with. Perhaps you had dates there before, or it’s significant to your relationship.

  • Think through your outfits and appearance—make sure it reflects your personalities.

  • And most importantly: choose a photographer who you like, someone you feel you can trust, because feeling comfortable in their presence is key to capturing memorable photos.

“Our engagement photoshooting was one of a kind with Dóri and Dani. They helped us feel comfortable and on ease front of the camera. Their creative pose ideas, dynamic set-ups, made us forget that we are on a photoshooting, so we could truly be our real selves. Their talent and skill in capturing the essence of our relationship were evident throughout the entire session. The way they used the given surroundings and played with light and shadows to create captivating and romantic moments, was just impressive and professional. We also have enjoyed spending time and creating these precious moment together with them.”

If you’d like me to capture your wedding in photos, I will definitely talk about the value of engagement photography and suggest that we create something lasting before the Big Day 🙂 I offer a special package for engagement shoots, and I provide a discount for all couples who have signed a wedding contract with me.

Message me, let’s get to know each other and chat—I can’t wait to tell your story through my visual approach.

The most exciting adventures always start with an idea, and that’s exactly how it happened with Borka and Andris. They wanted a location that was unique, personal, and truly told their story—and for them, that was the Cogwheel Railway.

I’m always thrilled to take on new creative challenges, and honestly, I enjoyed every second of this shoot. The ideas and perspectives just kept flowing effortlessly.

I love when we can create something truly special and unique—something that completes and enhances your story. And for that, you don’t necessarily need an extravagant location or props. As I always say before a shoot: all that really matters is you and the connection between you.
