1. RAW photos are not finished images
RAW files are the digital equivalent of a film negative or a sketch before a painting. They contain all the data from the camera sensor, but they haven’t been polished, color corrected, or edited in any way.
In fact, if you were to open one, it might look flat, dull, or even lifeless — and that’s totally normal. Because they’re not meant to be the final product.
Just like a wedding dress looks different before it’s tailored to you, RAW files are halfway there. They need the final touch: editing.
2. Editing is part of my signature style
When you choose dorsphotos, you’re not just hiring someone to push a shutter. You’re choosing a vision. My editing process is where I bring your photos to life — where the warm tones, soft highlights, and emotional atmosphere come through.
Every image you’ve seen in my portfolio has been carefully curated and lovingly edited to reflect the full story and emotion of the day. That consistency is part of my artistic identity, and it’s what ensures your gallery will feel timeless and uniquely you.

3. Consistency – a cohesive, beautiful gallery
RAW files are inconsistent — different lighting conditions, camera settings, and moments create a mix of tones and contrast.
But once I work my editing magic? The gallery becomes you-shaped. From the way I balance colors to how I highlight emotional details, editing ensures every photo fits harmoniously into your visual story.
Your wedding album should feel like a flowing story, not a disjointed collection of snapshots. That’s why every image I deliver has gone through the same thoughtful process.
4. Trusting a photographer means trusting their process
When you book a professional wedding photographer, you’re not just paying for images. You’re investing in someone’s creative process, experience, and storytelling style.
Delivering unfinished files would break that promise.
You trusted me to capture the most intimate, joyful, and emotional moments of your day. That trust includes believing that I’ll deliver them back to you in the most beautiful, meaningful way I know how.

5. RAW files are not user-friendly
Even if you’re curious to see the RAW files, the truth is: they’re not designed for regular use.
-
They’re massive in size (often 25–50 MB per photo)
-
They require professional software like Lightroom or Photoshop to open
-
And they can’t be printed, shared, or posted without editing
Unless you’re a fellow photographer, RAW files are more confusing than helpful. I want you to have photos you can actually use — easily and joyfully.
6. The Final Gallery Is Worth the Wait
I pour my heart into every image I edit. Not just to make them look beautiful — but to make sure they feel like you. I know it’s hard to wait when you’re excited (and I always send sneak peeks!), but the full gallery is where the story comes together.
When you open it for the first time, I want you to smile, cry, laugh — and feel it all over again.
That’s why I don’t deliver RAW files.
Because your memories deserve to be seen in full color, full emotion, and full beauty.
Trust the process. It’s worth it.
